About Me

Jerod Ringwald is an Indianapolis-based freelance photographer.

He attended the University of Iowa, where he spent three years as a photojournalist, photo editor, and creative director at the Daily Iowan student newspaper and graduated with a B.A. in journalism and cinematic arts. Following graduation, Ringwald worked as a full-time intern with Hawkeye Sports, photographing a variety of Division I athletic programs.

After his time with the Hawkeyes, Ringwald accepted a photography internship with the Minnesota Twins for the 2025 season. In this role, he photographed games, worked in the studio, covered community events, and captioned and managed images for the organization’s Photoshelter.
